Last week, the Mavely creator community showed up and showed out for a night of real talk, real laughs, and real opportunity as we hosted our first (but certainly not last) creator meetup in Atlanta!
Hosted at the stunning Zakia Modern Lebanese Restaurant, our first Atlanta-based creator meetup brought together 30 incredible influencers for an unforgettable evening packed with content, connections, and a few surprises (yes, there was dessert — and yes, it was worth staying for!)
Let’s recap the magic!
The Vibe: Chic, Warm, and Oh-So ATL
From the moment guests walked into Zakia, it was clear this wasn’t just another networking dinner. With its elegant ambiance and luxe Lebanese cuisine, the space set the tone for an evening where creators could truly connect.
We kicked off with light bites and drinks while creators mingled over Influencer Bingo — a playful icebreaker where the first five winners snagged useful, creator-friendly prizes like tripods and ring lights. And for those who couldn’t resist a little friendly competition? Our Link It Raffle challenged attendees to post a Mavely link to their Instagram Story on the spot for a chance to win a $250 gift card. (Spoiler: they went fast.)
The Main Event: An Exclusive Interview with Home Depot
The highlight of the night? A powerhouse conversation with Lyndsie Pizzarelli of Home Depot, who pulled back the curtain on what it really takes to build long-term brand relationships.
Lyndsie shared how her role focuses on running casted campaigns and educating both consumers and stakeholders about the power of affiliate. Her key message? Authenticity wins — and the most successful partnerships come from creators who genuinely love the brand.
Some of our favorite takeaways:
Short-form content is gold for Home Depot — especially when they’re shoppable and seasonally relevant (hello, 12-foot skeletons 👀).
Brand safety and aesthetic matter, so keep your content clean, cohesive, and true to your personal style.
Engagement beats sales — if the vibe is right and your audience is connecting, that’s a win.
Home Depot loves variety. It’s not just DIYers — from Gen Z to Boomers, everyone has a home project, and there’s space for all creators to shine.
As Lyndsie put it, “Real people like to see real products in real time in real places.” We couldn’t agree more.
Gifted with Gratitude
No Mavely creator meetup is complete without our signature gift bags — and this one was next-level! Our Atlanta influencers were treated to bulging totes filled to the brim with an array of goodies from our generous brand partners—Home Depot, Stanley, Warmies, Clarins, Glossier, Jelly Belly, and Giftshire—along with some cool Mavely swag!
What Creators Are Saying
“The Mavely meet-up was an absolute blast! The location, the food, and the vibe — top tier! I got to know so many other creators and connect with some really awesome people. Grateful for the opportunity!”
We live for this kind of feedback. Whether you’re new to the creator economy or leveling up your collab game, these events are about so much more than swag and selfies (though we love those too!) They’re about building a community where creators win together.
Stay tuned…more creator meetups coming soon!
Mavely’s creator meetups are always something special, and this one? Pure Southern magic. From the warm welcomes to the powerful conversations and all the little details in between, the Atlanta creator community reminded us why we do what we do.
Our events are more than just creator meetups — they’re thoughtfully curated experiences designed to bring together standout creators doing standout things. If you weren’t in the room this time, don’t worry. We’re already cooking up more chances to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the magic that happens when Mavely creators come together. Keep an eye out for the next Mavely meetup—we might be heading your way!
